(nee Nifenger)
Of Lancaster, NY February 6, 2023 at
the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late
Lewis Cardwell; loving mother of David
(Elizabeth) , Stephen, Peter (Danielle) and
Paul (Ashley); grandmother of Luca
and Logan Cardwell; step grandmother
of Gage and Avery Bergeron; sister
of Susan (Richard) Neary and Linda
(John) Seebeth also survived by nieces
and nephews. A Celebration of life will
be held at the convenience of the family.
Barbara was a teacher at Como Park
Elementary School , she was one of the
founders of Friends of the Lancaster
Public Library in 1987 and a member
of the Lancaster Women's Civic Club.
