at age 102, following a brief illness.
Daughter of the late E. LaVern and
Ruth Benton; sister of Duane (Carolyn)
Benton of Wilmington, DE and the late
Ethel (Leslie) Spaulding, Lloyd (Marie)
Benton, Evelyn (Roy) Rogers, and
Ruth (Arthur) King; beloved wife of
the late Ceylon H. Babcock; cherished
mother of Dianne (Richard) Conklin,
Ron (late Nancy) Babcock, Marie
Morrow and the late Janice Ponter; also
survived by loving grandchildren, greatgrandchildren,
great-great-grandchildren,
nieces, nephews and many friends. Due
to covid restrictions, a private service
was held for the immediate family. A
Memorial Service is planned for a later
date. Memorial gifts may be sent to
