DEBBINS-Chester T.  Of Lancaster, NY October 26, 2023.  Beloved husband of Ida (Rees) Debbins; loving father of Nancy (Jim) Wegrzyn, Peggy (Rich) Kerr, Tom (Lisa) Debbins and Barry (Cathy) Debbins; Dearest grandfather of Rebecca (Andrew) Zalenski, Nicholas (Janelle) Debbins, Andrew (Ashley) Debbins , Christopher Debbins (Ariel Madway), Jeromy (Haley) Wegrzyn, Alexander (Emily) Debbins, Peter Wegrzyn (Arin Cotel-Altman), Victoria Debbins, Rachel Kerr, Nathan (Janel) Debbins, Michelle Debbins, and Stephen Kerr, and great grandfather of Connor Debbins, Ryder Zalenski, Reagan Debbins, Lucille Zalenski, Colin Zalenski, Maxwell Wegrzyn, Kian Debbins, Donovan Debbins, and Madeleine Debbins; brother of the late Dan (Norma) Dembinski. When Chet retired in 1990 from 39 years of teaching Industrial Arts/Technology at Lancaster High School, his advice for the student body was "Change is the only constant.  It must be accepted; should even be embraced through a commitment to a lifetime of learning inspired by the challenges of changing environments."Family will receive relatives and friends at the WENDEL & LOECHER INC.
