In Loving Memory of Diane M. Farrell

March 15, 1943 – April 13, 2026

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Diane M. Farrell on April 13, 2026, at the age of 83.

Diane was the beloved wife of Raymond Farrell, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. She was the cherished daughter of the late William and Winifred McDonell.

She is lovingly survived by her brothers, Patrick McDonell (Sheila), Dennis McDonell, Daniel McDonell, and Kevin McDonell. She was predeceased by her siblings Herman Denahower, Dolores Leech, William McDonell, Ellen Link, Don McDonell, Bob McDonell, and Michael McDonell.

Diane was a devoted mother to Michael Farrell (Lisa), Patrick Farrell (Karen), and Raymond Farrell Jr. (Kimberly). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Chauncey St. John (Sarah), Lacey Valenzuela (Jorge), Misty Barrett (Cillian), Sarah Kelly (Dwan), Finius Browne, Sean Farrell (Allie), Annie Walkup (Joe), Maceo Farrell, Maxwell Winn, and Piper Farrell.

She was also a treasured great-grandmother to Kamdyn Kelly, Cooper Farrell, Georgia Rose St. John, Jack St. John, Giancarlo Valenzuela, Glen Walkup, and Antonio Valenzuela.

Diane is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Family will receive relatives and friends at the WENDEL & LOECHER INC. FUNERAL HOME 27 Aurora St. Lancaster, NY Friday April 17th from 3-6pm.

Diane found her greatest joy in her family. She loved camping, bowling, bingo, and anything that involved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and family will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
