Donald J.
Ehrenreich
Nov 14, 1933 — Sep 11, 2024
EHRENREICH Donald Joseph, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on September 11, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Buffalo, New York on November 14, 1933, he is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Barbara Jean Ehrenreich; loving father of the late Lisa A. Ehrenreich , Douglas J. (CJ) Ehrenreich , Mary E. (Steven Marks) Ehrenreich, Andrea J. Ehrenreich, and Joseph D. Ehrenreich. Donald loved, with his whole heart, his grandchildren Elliott (Sherry), Olivia, Claire, Sarai, Sofia, Samuel, Shelby, Zack, Terrell and William. He is also survived by his sister in- law, Kathi Hilbert, and daughter in- law, Nicole Ehrenreich.
He will be greatly missed by his siblings, Michael (Alei) Ehrenreich , David Ehrenreich, Judy Bremiller, Patricia Russell and the late James Ehrenreich.
Donald was a man of deep faith, an active member of both St. Mary of the Assumption and Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary churches. Donald committed his life to serving others, and along with his wife, Barb, was an active member of their church community as a lector and eucharistic minister. He also volunteered for many years as a Eucharistic Minister at Brother of Mercy in Clarence. He found joy in singing with the church choir, and his love for music was further reflected in his proud membership with the Friends of Harmony Barbershop Choir and the HyNotes Quartet.
Donald loved his family with his whole heart, especially during family gatherings, holidays, and time spent with his grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and always looked forward to being on the course with his golf buddies.
Donald's life was a testament to love, dedication, and service. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and song, and while he will be deeply missed, the lessons, values, and memories he imparted will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Clarence on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:30 am (no prior visitation), where we will celebrate his life and honor his memory. Share condolences at wendelandloecherinc.com
