Of Lancaster, NY. Beloved wife of the late John Woloszynski, cherished mother of Dennis (Cherie), Judith (Roger) Eicheldinger, Kathleen (Eric) Armenat, and Ann Woloszynski. Dearest grandmother to Nikki (Paul) Sanmarco, Leigh (Brian) Przepasniak, Matt (Briana) Eicheldinger, Mike (Kate), Woloszynski, Elliott (Kadie) Eicheldinger, AJ Woloszynski (Sarah Andres), and Rachel Woloszynski (JJ Swartz), and great-grandmother of nine. Sister of Christine (Justin) Belter and the late Dolores (George) Skalski, sister-in-law of Edith and Norbert Knaszak, and cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was blessed to share over 60 years with the love of her life, John. She cherished every moment spent with her family, creating memories that will live on for generations. A woman of deep faith, Eleanor dedicated countless hours to her church, St. Mary's of the Assumption. She was an active member of the prayer shawl ministry and the bereavement committee, offering comfort and kindness to those in need. Her compassion and generosity touched everyone she met.
Eleanor's legacy is one of love, service, and gratitude. She often said, "I had a wonderful life," and those who knew her would agree. Her gentle spirit, unwavering support, and joyful outlook inspired her family and friends. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories, woven from her acts of kindness and her devotion to others. Family will receive relatives and friends at the WENDEL & LOECHER INC. Funeral Home, 27 Aurora St., Lancaster, NY, Sunday from 1–4pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Monday at 9:30am (please assemble at church).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Response to Love Center, an organization close to Eleanor's heart.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who loved her.
