GUSTAVEL – Eric October 5, 1964 – January 3, 2026

Beloved companion of Marcia Tichy; loving father of Logan, Connor (Brady Redmond) and Kyla Gustavel; dearest brother of Brian Gustavel, Allison Padgett and the late Daryle Gustavel; devoted son of the late Norman and Sharon (Dissette) Gustavel; uncle of Jordyn, Michael and Aaron Padgett, Mary Sue Tichy, Evan and Kayli Rabent, Jayden Paddock, Nevada and Jake Gaston and Kinsey Warner; also survived by many dear cousins and a special aunt and former spouse Kelly (Schifla) Gustavel .  Family will receive relatives and friends at the WENDEL & LOECHER INC. FUNERAL HOME 27 Aurora St. Lancaster, NY Thursday from 3-7pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church Lancaster, NY Friday morning at 9:30am (please assemble at church).  Eric was a accomplished musician and bass player.  He was an well known name in the Buffalo music scene for decades and will be greatly missed by his music brothers and sisters.  He performed with many bands, including Sequins, Grand Illusion, Passionworks, Back to the Bars, Initiation, OCDC, Wunderland, Coda, Chicago Authority, Disco Duck, Blackout and Paragon.  He brought a smile, a joke, a silly costume with music to touch your heart in so many ways.
