26; son of the late William and late
Margaret Reitzel; special uncle to
many; also survived by many good
friends. Funeral service will be held at
St. John's Lutheran Church 67 Litchfield
Ave. Depew, NY Saturday morning at
10am, no prior visitation. Ernie was a
WWII naval veteran serving in Europe
and the Pacific theater earning 5 battle
stars. His proudest moment was
witnessing the signing of the Japanese
surrender at Tokyo Bay. Ernie was an
avid hunter, fisherman and a life
member of the Depew Lions Club. In
lieu of flowers donation may be made in
Ernie's name to St. John's Lutheran
