Bice, Frances A

(nee Horgos)

Age 72, of Lancaster, NY and formerly of West Elizabeth, PA passed away suddenly at her home on March 21, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late William Bice; loving mother of the late Kathlyn Bice, Nathan (Heather) Bice and Steven (Erin) Bice; cherished grandmother "Grammy" and "Mimi" of Tessa, Avery, Liam, Zaden and Zachary; sister of Andria Wood, Stephany (Tom) Winemiller and the late Virginia Stuempfle; survived by many nieces and nephews.

Annie Fran was a graduate of California State College and Purdue University, where she also taught biology.  After marrying the love of her life in 1972, she moved with him to the Buffalo region, where she spent several years teaching at E.C.C. before they started their family.  She enjoyed being a stay at home mother while embarking in entrepreneurial endeavors such as a radio show host, iridologist, real estate agent and property manager to name a few.  She loved researching and was always trying to get "organized", but her favorite hat to wear was being a grandmother.  Her grandchildren absolutely adored her and she spent many hours enjoying their company, passing on her love of learning and instilling a love for God in their hearts.  She had a huge heart and genuinely cared for each and every person in her life.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
