EZZO – George M. of Lancaster, NY.  Born on October 11, 1946 took his final flight west into eternity on August 20, 2025. Beloved husband of Donna (Weixlmann) Ezzo; loving father of Jody (Paul) Peccia and Christine (Richard) Cannistra; stepfather of Karl Clapp and Tim Machnica; dearest grandfather of Brendan and Alyssa; brother of the late Louise, Gennaro, Martin, Marie, Lillian, Theresa and Ralph; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Lancaster Airport lost a truly great aircraft mechanic, FAA Authorized Maintenance Inspector (IA) and overall aviation advocate. George received The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award in recognition for 50 years of exemplary flight experience, distinguished professionalism and steadfast commitment to aviation safety. He was a great friend to many, both in the air and on the ground.
