SWEET – Howard  A. "Pete" October 21, 1930 – January 10, 2024  Of Alden, NY  Howard passed peacefully with his loving wife Barbara (Polen) and his three girls holding his hands.  They were married 69 years and raised 5 children; Cary (Charlotte), Renee (late Harold) Landahl, Kirk (Helene), Lisa (Tom) Cooke and the late Stephen (Tammy); grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 6.  Family will receive relatives and friends at the WENDEL & LOECHER INC. FUNERAL HOME 27 Aurora St. Lancaster, NY Saturday January 20th from 1-3pm.  Pete was the owner of Pete Sweets service station in the Village of Lancaster which he owned for 65 years he retired at the age of 75.
