DEBBINS- Ida (Rees)   Of Lancaster, NY March 17, 2026.  Beloved wife of the late Chester Debbins; loving mother of Nancy (Jim) Wegrzyn, Peggy (Rich) Kerr, Tom (Lisa) Debbins and Barry (Cathy) Debbins; Dearest grandmother of Rebecca (Andrew) Zalenski, Nicholas (Janelle) Debbins, Andrew (Ashley) Debbins , Christopher Debbins (Ariel Madway), Jeromy (Haley) Wegrzyn, Alexander (Emily) Debbins, Peter Wegrzyn (Arin Cotel-Altman), Victoria Debbins, Rachel Kerr, Nathan Debbins, Michelle Debbins, and Stephen Kerr, and great-grandmother of Connor Debbins, Ryder Zalenski, Lucille Zalenski, Reagan Debbins, Colin Zalenski, Maxwell Wegrzyn, Kian Debbins, Donovan Debbins, Madeleine Debbins, Violet Wegrzyn, Dawson Debbins, Owen Debbins and Maxton Zalenski; sister of the late Gus (late Florence and late Eve) Rees; aunt of the late Judy (late Jake) Raiser and Pam (Tony) Internicola. Ida worked as a physical education teacher before starting a family.  She loved camping and was active in Home Bureau and Ladies of Charity.  Family will receive relatives and friends at the WENDEL & LOECHER INC. FUNERAL HOME 27 Aurora St. Lancaster, NY Friday from 3-6pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church Lancaster, NY Saturday morning at 11am (please assemble at church).  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family scholarship fund at Lancaster High School, by cash or check to Nancy Wegrzyn.
