MUSCARELLA Joseph J. August 14, 1940 – March 18, 2025 Of Lancaster, NY surrounded by his loving family at the age of 84.  He was born the son of the late Angelo and late Lena (DiGesaro) Muscarella.  Beloved husband of 62 years to Idalene (Eppolito) Muscarella; devoted father of Melaine Muscarella and the late Michelle (Michael) Stribing; cherished Papa of Alexandra (Erin) Stribing, Gabrielle (Brittany) Garvin, Briana (Andrew) Bardusch, Madison and Joseph Powers; great grandfather of Jovie Michelle Bardusch and Adrian; dear brother of Michael Muscarella; brother-in-law of the late Donald (Pamela) Eppolito; also survived by many loving relatives and friends.  Joe grew up in Buffalo, NY.  He attended Grover Cleveland High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Education and his Masters Degree in School Administration and Supervision from Buffalo State Teachers College.  He taught in the Kenmore Schools and was later appointed as an administrator in the Buffalo Public Schools. He retired as Assistant Superintendent of Personnel in 1997.  His love of children and sports led him to a fulfilling career as a teacher, administrator, and coach.  He was a dedicated athlete in high school, college, and throughout his life.  He loved watching and attending sporting events, especially when his children or grandchildren were playing.  He also liked making scale model plastic race cars.  Joe was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather who loved doing things for and being with his family.  He had a very strong sense of family and friendship and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.  Funeral services were held privately with the family.  Share condolences at wendelandloecherinc.com
