TRZEWIECZYNSKI - Leon
Suddenly March 17, 2020. Son of the
late Florence (nee Makowski) and
the late Stanley; beloved father of
Jason Trzewieczynski and Ariel (Kyle)
Rozanski; dearest Dziadzia of Ember
and soon to be Titan; brother of Jane
(late Dennis) Malone and Annette
(Shawn) McWaters; uncle of Tammie
(Tim) Schaefer and Brandon Kyle
(Eleanor) McWaters; also survived
by great-nephews, a great-niece and
many cousins; Leon was also the
friend and forever husband of Carla
Trzewieczynski. Leon was a retired
Captain with the Lancaster Police,
having worked there from 1980-2003.
During his tenure, he worked as a
Crisis Negotiator, Patrol Lieutenant
and Patrol Captain. He was also a
graduate of the FBI National Academy.
After retirement, Leon enjoyed a
career with GEICO, having last held
the position of Investigator. Leon
had a life-long talent for percussion
instruments and a passion of drum
corps. At the time of his death, he was a
member and Business Manager of the
Hamburg Kingsmen. Leon will also be
remembered for his love of the ocean
and beach life, at the time of his death
having resided in Monterey, California.
A Memorial Service will be held locally at
