NASCA - Linda Ann
72 of Lancaster, died peacefully on
August 19, 2023 at Elderwood at
Lancaster. Linda was predeceased
by her parents Anthony and Shirley
Nasca. Survivors include a brother
Jack (Pauline) Nasca and a sister
Pamela (Lee) Lemke. She is also
survived by her nieces Rachel Kiliszek,
Alyssa Nasca and nephews Chad
(Alexandra) Lemke, Brian Nasca and
Nicholas Nasca. Family will receive
relatives and friends at the WENDEL

August 31, 2023 from 4-7pm. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at St. Mary of the Assumption Church
Lancaster NY Friday September 1,
2023 at 9:30 am. Please assemble at
church. Linda was born on November
14, 1950 in Buffalo NY. Linda was
a graduate of St. Benedicts, Sacred
Heart Academy and Buffalo State
College where she received a BS and
MS in Elementary Education. She was
a dedicated social studies teacher and
was always working to improve her
skills to keep her classes interesting
and challenging. Linda taught in Galex
VA, the Diocesan Educational Center in
Buffalo and retired from teaching at St.
Mary's Elementary School in Lancaster.
Linda was beloved by her students who
nominated her to "Who's Who Among
American Teachers." Linda was an
avid reader and bowler, enjoyed doing
needlepoint and sharing her love of
music, especially the Beatles with her
students. She was a lifelong fan of the
Buffalo Bills and the NY Yankees. The
family would like to thank the staff at
Elderwood Lancaster for their kindness
and care of Linda over the past year. In
lieu of flowers contributions in Linda's
memory may be made to the Buffalo
